Proxy Falls, located in the Oregon Cascades along the McKenzie Pass Highway, is easily one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest.

While it is easy to access the falls, taking a great photo is another story! The abundant water flow creates a perpetual mist that leaves tiny (and not so tiny) water drops on camera lenses. I had to clean my lens before every shot, and still ended up with water drops on many of the images. If you visit the falls to take photos, be sure to bring a lens cleaning cloth, and lots of patience!
